1. Clean-Room Engineering Commitment

Likhi (লিখি) is engineered from the ground up as an original, clean-room software implementation. The core C++20 language engine, phonetic parser, unigram trie, and Windows Text Services Framework integration have been developed without decompiling, reverse-engineering, or copying proprietary binary assets or copyrighted assets from other commercial software.

2. Notice and Takedown Procedure

If you believe in good faith that any content, documentation, or code appearing on the Likhi website infringes upon your copyright or intellectual property rights, please submit a written notification containing the following elements to our designated agent:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • Identification of the specific material on getlikhi.com that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient URL detail to locate the material;
  • Your contact details, including full name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you submitted or hosted was mistakenly removed or disabled, you may file a written counter-notification with our designated agent containing your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury of good faith belief regarding mistake, and consent to jurisdiction.
